The stylish 'Bijou' desk or table lamp by Dutch designer Louis Kalff, which was made for the manufacturer Philips is a beautiful icon from the Spage Age era. This 1950s model is in particularly good condition and consists of metal and brass. The table lamp has the original petrol green finish, which pairs nicely with the gilded tripod base. It is a labeled model with the original cord, plug and switch. The shape of this desk lamp is inspired by a UFO. Louis Kalff was an architect and designer and also designed the Evoluon (in the shape of a flying saucer) which has now become a national monument.
